We are always here to help you
- MAVO language school is situated in the centre of Prague and we can reach you, too.
- You are welcome to choose among a large range of courses (not just Czech for foreigners).
- We offer 10 and 20 lesson packages of Czech for foreigners (with any course except for workshops and weekends).
- We focus on communication skills and spoken Czech, we are able to prepare you for Czech Language Certificate Exams.
- We always offer 5 basic levels: beginners, post-beginners, pre-intermediate, intermediate and advanced. The required number = 4 students / course (level).
- We combine renowned textbooks and our own supplementary materials.

CONVERSATION
Czech for Foreigners - CHITCHATS
If you just want to practice your conversational skills (no matter how good you are), you have a chance to start with us. In our friendly environment you will not feel stressed and moreover you do not have to worry about a long-term enrolment because you pay every lesson extra. The only thing you have to do in advance is to book your place (by sms to 734 456 963 ) 24hrs prior to the lesson.

EXAMS
Czech for Foreigners - Course VI. (A1 TEST PREPARATION)
If you want to take the A1 test on 14. 4. 2012 just because you want to see some results of your studies or you want to gain the permanent residentship, we can prepare you for it. We will focus on all the parts, practice them and you will even try sample tests.

Czech for Foreigners - Course VII. (A2 TEST PREPARATION)
If you want to take the A2 test just because you want to see some results of your studies or you want to gain the permanent residentship and think that A1 is not enough, we can prepare you for the A2 exam. We will focus on all the parts, practice them and you will again also take sample tests.

GENERAL COURSES
Czech for Foreigners - Course I. (BEGINNERS)
This course will teach you survival Czech for everyday life and is aimed at people who are busy yet want to learn the basics of Czech or those who want to improve their very basic knowledge.

Czech for Foreigners - Course II. (POST-BEGINNERS)
Have you been learning Czech for a while and still have the I-can´t-speak feeling? We will practise this skill with you together with listening. Moreover we will develop your vocabulary and will not forget reading skills and grammar.

Czech for Foreigners - Course III. (PRE-INTERMEDIATE)
A course for those who have been studying Czech for a while yet not enough and want to continue studying. The same system you already know from the previous courses. We develop grammar and cultural knowledge but also speak a lot.

This course will focus more on understanding the nuances between Czech and English and even the everywhere used idioms. We will also revise (review) the knowledge from the previosu courses and practice them.

Classic
Time and day: 9 a.m. - 12.15 p.m., from Monday to Friday (2 weeks)
Course details: The course will prepare you for simple yet effective interaction with the natives in everyday life situations, thus providing a good background for future self-study.

Location: city of Prague
3rd weekend - "Lost"
Time and day: the weekend starts on Saturday 8 a.m. and finishes on Sunday 5 p.m.
Course details: 2 days with Czech language somewhere in the countryside
Location: locations vary, details will be available on the first weekend
Czech for Foreigners - Pub classes
Time and day: once or twice a week (negotiable), 60 or 90 minute lesson (your choice)
Course details: tailor-made for those who hate school environment and books. You can meet your teacher in a nice quiet café or a pub near your job (flat), the Czech lessons are based on communication, you can choose the topics, extra work-sheets for each lesson, stress-free atmosphere guaranteed.

Czech for Foreigners - Saturday workshops
Time and day: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday (see the following)
Workshop details: each workshop is divided into 2 parts, selected topic and Czech Essentials (little of theory + everyday phrases)
